A two-hour introductory class in Adaptation from novels, nonfiction, and memoirs will be offered via Zoom. The intent is to provide the viewer with a good professional overview of the current state of the process of adapting one’s work. Subjects include: a short outline of basic screen structure, evaluating published works, the role of the screenwriter, and the nuts-and-bolts process of adapting material for feature films and long-form serial streaming for commercial production.
